So I took Claire to get her out of the house, but mostly because I didn't feel like cooking dinner and we had limited groceries at home anyway. She loves the High Roller and anytime we pass it she tells me that she works there. Silly baby.
So we parked under the wheel and I pushed Claire in her stroller through the whole area, passing restaurants and bars and quaint boutiques. There was a lot to take in for the both of us. At the end, by the strip, was Haute Doggery, and we each had a hotdog and I had a beer for $15 total thanks to locals night. Not bad. Claire wanted me to take a picture of her hotdog so I went ahead and took one of hers and mine too.

Claire wanted to walk back so she got out a lot of energy trying to run away from me and nearly mowing down tourists. We got a lot of "who brings a baby to Vegas?" looks but I didn't care because wtf it's Tuesday at 6pm. Strangely enough it was the showgirls and bar hostesses who loved her and laughed at her antics. Why are tourists in Vegas so grumpy? YOU'RE IN VEGAS.
We didn't ride the High Roller but spent a lot of time looking at it from below. I think I want to bring the kids this weekend. They run a special for families (2 adults and 3 kids, plus juice boxes) on Saturday mornings for $50, but then I noticed that adults are $25 and kids <12 are free, so I'm not sure what the "special" is all about.
